5xS +CA +2xC-ruffs +HAK +DJA =12 and need squeeze (H-C or H-D) vs.LHO or DK drop.
Play as if it could happen.

you don't have the entries for the squeeze I'm afraid, you kill dummy's hearts to get to hand and ruff clubs and pull trumps.

If we assume that LHO has lead singleton , then diamond finesse in trick 3 stands out. (We win if LHO has K(xx) in )

But the lead doesn't have to be singleton, we are in grand and opponent might as well lead small from doubleton to mislead declarer.

Alternative line is
1. ----
2. to Ace
3. ruff
4. Ace
5. ruff
6. ruff
7. ruff

(Winning if LHO has 2 and Kx or xxxx )

i've never heard of opps giving any kind of count in trumps on the lead. most people just lead the lowest whatever they hold.

My father found the winning line at the table (diamond finese diamond ruff and score J without pulling trumps, then cross ruff) for +1510.

It is quite surprising that so far we have played 4 grands making, neither of them cold, but only 3 slams, neither of them making :)

... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

His father is a known overbidder lol. He once opened 4 against me on some rubbish like

Kxxxxx

JTxxx

ahahah. All white, mind you  Anyway, good play by your father, Gonzalo. The diamond finesse is more or less mandatory due to lack of entries.

I don't understand this comment. Why is this mandatory and not wclass_'s line?
