nah I pass. I hope they go down. I'd like just a little more in diamonds for a 3NT bid. I don't like bidding 4m unless it's an opening bid or it's artificial.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Most players, including me, just don't have the discipline for a pass, at this vulnerability, so 3NT it is.

kfay, I thought we all played 4D as 5/5 D&H these days?

Even if 4 is natural it's silly, it's pass or 3NT here. I'll try it, 3NT.

I'd bid 3NT, if I get doubled, I may run to 4D though.

I'd hate to go down in 3NT and be cold for 6 though. Furthermore it can't be as silly as pass.

Sure the first instance isn't particularly likely, but 3NT does happen to cost a lot in undertricks.... people don't often factor that into their IMP odds I know

why would they factor in imp odds at pairs?

No its not! Your teammate is opening 3 and your counterpart is bidding 4.

3NT expects partner to have S:10xx for a 2nd stop??
DK onside with 3S preemptor??
S:7312 so RHO is disconnected??
5xC with Q + H:AKQ?? Or D:AKx??
I'm not that rosey eyed!! PASS.
