I would bid 3 if that is highly invitational. If it is preemptive, then I would bid 4.

I tend to agree. We always want to be in game opposite 4 but partner will probably accept with any hand with 4 anyway.
I don't mind 4. I think it's close.

I was going to bid 4 based on the playing strength, even with the heart length on my left, but the 2 bid on my right in my doubleton has turned me off. 3 then.

2 (by anyone who meant it and knew the auction)? lol?
