I doubled.
I thought or maybe just hoped that partner would often pull with two diamonds.
The defense won four top tricks - 2 hearts, 1 diamond and 1 club
and we scored all three of our trumps with ruffs.
Partner was 1=6=0=6.
Anyone else as crazy as me?

Preemptors who bid twice deserve to be punished
I once yelled at my partner for discarding the 'wrong' card when he was subjected to a squeeze that I allowed by giving the wrong count with too high a card. Now he's allowed to pitch aces when the opponents have the king in the dummy. At trick 2. When he could have followed suit. And blame me.

I think double is clear as well. That brings the vote to 6 for double, 2 for pass, 2 for 5D and 1 for 5H.
Perhaps then, you are crazy, as you think the majority action is crazy?
