Today (in about 4 hours) will be the first football game at the World Cup. I must say I wasn't impressed by the amateur pre game show though. Go Cristiano Ronaldo.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

The real deal will be four and a half hours later. I don't even know who to support or bet on, I think I'm gonna start rooting for Honduras, which will let Chile and Spain go through.

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

OK, a few general football paradigms before the final round begins:

1) The ball is round
2) A match lasts max 120 mins
3) If you get into penalty shootout against Germany, don't be nervous, you will loose it for sure. :(

Podolski ftw
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

Really, they have never lost a single one in any official tournament...and there are many jokes about it.

You are wrong!
They lost the final at the European Championship 1976.

You know, if you post on BBF people may read it after the game is over! Better to keep it to yourself, or to your pub.

This was still more articulate and truthful than most bridge posts I write. I am used to the feeling.
