Three impossible results for 3, 10, and 10 IMPs to Nickel in the Round of 8.
Conceding 13 trcks on the Spade king lead which at least holds that trick, then gets 3 more for the defense.
Then strange claims or concessions on the next two.
Was anyone watching what really happened?
Edit: boards were 94, 95, and 96.

There was "connection problems" (at least that what operator said) and he/she said that play/bidding is unavailable for that boards, a pity because it was where the match was decided.

is there a good place to check the results other than the bulletin for today?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

jjbrr, maybe you can get the actual play of those hands in the closed room in the Nickel/Harris match from that, but I can't.
On Seg7 of match 1 of the Round of 8, Closed room play only shows the contract, the alleged opening lead and final result (which on boards 94, 95, and 96 make no sense.

I thought I was just answering gwnn's question about results. I suspect if the play isn't on the usbf website, then it probably does not exist.

The real bidding and play, at least what I have been able to find, is now entered on the web vugraph on the USBF site.
The bad weather in Chicago played havoc with our internet connections during part of the match, which is why the bidding and play were not available earlier. The scores posted were, however, correct.
