(1) Apparently this guarantees 3+ club support, which I don't think it possibly can, given that heart bids are non-forcing. This makes it really hard for responder to create a force with long hearts. I tried to sign off in 4h after this, GIB bids blackwood?? which I passed in desperation.

(2) Shows heart splinter apparently??? I don't know exactly what 3♥ ought to show, but I doubt this. Can you get it to just rebid clubs with this hand, and everything else naturalish? (maybe 3h = 3 support, max, 2h = 3 support min, spade = values spades, NT = values sp/diamonds, 3c rest?)
