balancing after 1nt opening

I noticed that GIB's system has a balancing X of 1nt as 5-5 in the majors, and also plays Capp so 2D shows the same thing.

I think it is only by a passed hand where it plays x = majors.

Perhaps, but in that case 2D should not also show the majors...
