Many congratulations to Csaba (gwnn) and Gabor (cicus) on winning the Hungarian Cup in Team Galim. It was on vugraph from Budapest Sunday. The team were the underdogs going into the 64-board final against Harangozo with several Hungarian internationalists, but it was actually one-way traffic ... in the other direction.

Team Galim were ahead from the word go and extended their lead board by board. After 48 boards Harangozo had enough and conceded, more than 100 IMPs behind.

Csaba and Gabor were partners, and they played extremely well. Well done guys!

Pretty sure it wasn't gwnn as he was in Iceland at the time. But congrats to cicus! I suspect it was Csaba Czímer (I am Daday). Close in the alphabet and probably far in bridge skills.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Thanks for the congratulations. ;)

However, my partner at winning the cup, although called Csaba (Czímer) is 'csabi' on BBO. BTW, occassionally he is also a vugraph commentator.
