It all started like a normal Monday afternoon club sequence starting at your right...

1NT-2
2-3
3NT-think think think think

(BTW would you lead a small diamonds at MP here?)

3NT-6
think think
7

Do you double 7? Do you think this is an interesting position? Do you think this is a stupid question? I did not actually double them but I was thinking maybe I can make them misguess trumps or something if they think I'm a big noob.

Opps are pretty good and imaginative. It is of course kind of reminiscent of the recent thread about the re-raise to 6 in the Laws forum but I think they are not really a regular partnership (and tank 6 can indeed mean a lot of things).
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

At my club, doubling would be a freeroll. There is absolutely no downside. There may not be any upside either, of course.

In a national event, I would never double.
