1♥-1NT!
2♦!-2♥
2♠-??
1NT= 4+ spades
2♦= 3+ cards
2♠ shows extras.

Pass, this should be a great contract and score.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Without the corresponding 10's and 9's, you could well be limited to ♥Jx, ♦KJx being of possible value. That said, you have already given partner a good indication of what he may expect with the 2♥ rebid and he still forces with 2♠. On that basis I would bid 3♠ and let partner decide where he wants to be.
bridge is never always a game of exact, for those times it's all about percentages, partner and the opponents.

PASS!
I am glad I have all these jacks, I might make!

Presumably partner must have four diamonds now, as he didn't open 1NT?
Game is poor opposite KQx KQxxx AQxx x, because dummy will be forced twice. That seems likely to be a problem opposite most hands, so I think we're about ♠10 away from raising.

... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

not really, we hardly ever open 1NT with 5 card major, but if he has 2 clubs he will have more extras

Just to make sure, 2♠ shows extras but it natural ? (ie. 3card?)
If yes my favorite toys tells me the game makes only in 32% of cases even opposite hands which would accept our invite (17hcp hcp with 3-5-3-2 or 16-17 with 3-5-4-1).
Pass seems the best, especially at MP's when just playing in ♠ will give you a great score.
