I think south should double 2 even if north passes.

Strongly disagree Karlson. There are a few bids left of which I think they show extras.
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

Well, you're relying a lot on your opponents to have eight hearts. If partner has A8xx xx KJxxx Ax, getting to 3 isn't exactly a triumph.

Something doesn't have to be a 100% action to be utterly clear. And even opposite that 3 is not the worst thing to ever happen to me. I still do not see the possibility of a raise to 2 as any sort of reason to bid 1NT the first time here.
