The latest version of the BBO web-client is now available. You will automatically pick up the latest version if you log in through the yellow "Play bridge now" link on our home page (www.bridgebase.com).

We wanted to get a new version out before the upcoming ACBL NABC in Reno so there is not that much of substance in V34. Aside from the usual bug fixes, here are the things that have changed (at least those that I can remember - I am sure I am missing something and I will edit this post accordingly if it comes to me - yes I should be writing down changes as I make them):

- There is a new facility for TDs that will make it easy for them to identify incomplete boards that may require an adjustment. The process of reviewing such boards and actually making adjustments has also be streamlined. These features will not be enabled until after the Reno tournament (which ends in about 2 weeks) as it is dependent on a new version of the server that will not be installed until after the NABC. We may only enable these features for some classes of tournaments (ACBL for example) to begin with.

- Some art and color-related changes including pretty new BBO masterpoint symbols.

- When using the "Hand editor" it is now possible to change the contents of a deal after having entered all 52 cards. Use the new "edit" button below the deal itself for this purpose. When you are finished editing the deal, click "edit" again. If your edits invalidate a play sequence that you have already entered, the software will cut off the play sequence where the problem occurs.

- When you are at a table, "BBO Now", "List all tables" now contains the same menu structure as "List all tables" on the main menu.

- "Masterpoints and races" can now be customized (by us) to include links to things like contests that are currently running (like "robot player of the month").

Please post comments, suggestions, questions, and bug reports here:
