I'll bite, 2 (unless playing systematically light openings, then I probably pass).

Pass. You risk a lot to gain little.

i will bid spades vs hearts whenever vaguely plausible and here i think it is so i will bid 2s
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Can't see the point in bidding at all on this one. Partner will think I have something that resembles a try for game, because she is already a passed hand.

I'll bid, I don't want to lose a partscore if partner can't reopen and bidding spades over hearts just seems to work in these spots.

I would bid. Think the biggest reason is for a possible partscore swing, but it is also possible we have game or should be saving.

I bid 2S, favorable vulnerability. Fight for the partscore or for a sacrifice if lefty is strong with heartfit. I would Pass if we are unfavorable because the risk for -500 or worse is not worth taking when the only target is to fight for partscore. I don't see any chance for game our side.

I would definitely bid 2 at this vulnerability.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Here's one: we're short in hearts, so pard may easily have 3 of those, in which case he's likely to pass and we miss a good part-score (maybe even game!!).

I think its close too and wouldn't be surprised if there is much difference in bidding versus passing.

I think at MPs I would bid and IMPs I would pass, especially if playing with an aggressive partner who loves to bid 4 over 4.

I would pass. With KQxxx xx Qxxx Ax I would bid, though.
