partner has opened in second position, he is not joking he has a decent suit. But he might also have some spade fit, still too many cards in the minors that won't banish anywhere.

I would pass, but I often regret this kind of decisions.

It's like me saying 1 level overcalls should be weak, and then someone else asking but how does that apply 1♠?? Well that was a weak analogy I admit. If only we had a professional analogy maker who is not retired...

Echo, no need to feel bad about this. If you do a sim, pass is probably right in more than 50% of the cases.

Agree with the pass, and I wouldn't open 2♥ on that in 2nd seat!
