The first 30 seconds I had to take to realize the site was even about bridge were well worth it.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Clee found this. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Go to 'excerpts' and look at this hand:

The author explains that West failed to redouble S's double of 1D, as SOS :P

And of course North left the double in and NS collected 1400.

The lesson was that West shouldn't have let a previous bad board 'block' his thinking.

Either the author is on really, really good drugs and/or having a lot of fun, or he is completely badshit, or all three. Whatever the case may be, it's a compellingly visual website but I don't think he'll get many pupils for his proposed approach to bridge. I will, however, go back from time to time just to see what lunacies are being posted. So thanks for the link

Actually mikeh the suits are arranged incorrectly in the picture you copied that from. Took me awhile too, but the order of suits is clubs diamonds hearts spades.

Part of the trade mark Nemess.Sys is to arrange hand diagrams starting with clubs instead of spades. This allows us 1.804 times greater hand representations than "2/1" or any other iteration of homogenized Standard American picked up from the Garden-Party-Parity Pantry on Lemming Parkway.

It's certainly attention-getting. I'd be mildly surprised if there is a brilliant new method behind the madness, but I admit I'd spend more than a few minutes flipping through his book to find out... if it actually gets printed...

"the book (print and eBook), audio CD, and the
license to play are forthcoming."

Is this for real?

Can someone really make you buy a license to play a system?

Maybe it isn't so much you need a license to play as you can say "I'm officially licensed to play Nemess.Sys".

I was trying to find one or two sentences to make a signature but I decided that it's impossible... And who knows how much the licence for that would cost...

Bridge: A game entwined in a fuzzy
lineage to Medieval and Renaissance times?
A contest of egos, wills, and intellects? An
allegory for battle royales, mano a mano?
Bridge. A link and a connection; a conduit
and a channel; a passage to and from; a
joining together. Sine qua non.

I agree. Cats are cuter.

Back on topic, wonder when we will get to see this cracking new book.
