it seemed that finally there would be an american team, but USF1 finally resigned :/.

But CNN is gonna sponsor Lotus, so maybe the races are being watched in US to some extent.

I've always wondered what's so fun about watching those cars run around the track x times.

it's boringgggg. at least in NASCAR you know they could die on the track. there are a million times more overtakes in nascar than F1. that said, it was pretty sweet when Hamilton won the world championships in the last lap, by overtaking some random noob to finish 5th and not 6th!!

That random noob happens to be Jenson Button, the current world champion :), he made the last 5 laps on the wrong tires since he thought he would lose more time in the box changing them than just running with the current ones.

But nevertheless it was very exciting that hamilton losed the world championship by just 1 point on the last race 3 years ago, then won it by 1 point 2 years ago.

Well the races are kind of boring since overtaking is almost impossible, but it's always fun to see that the FIA changes the technical specifications to slow down the cars, and the engineers build cars with that spec's that are faster than the cars from last year....

And of cause some are better in choosing their pit stops than others.

Everyone in US politics is a random noob anyway, so you are not far off.

It was Glock, not Button. And I am not really fond of Hamilton, having the local media here hyping him up the day after the lucky win didn't help!

Will be interesting to see how Schumacher performs.
