Suppose you're playing in a Best Hand tourney but as usual partner shows up with a near yarb and you are defending against some stupid partscore. Dummy looks strong and there are very thin chances of defeating it. How do you defend? Can you accelerate it somehow?

I have a recent record of expressing myself unclearly so I'd like to make it clear that this is a question regarding tactics, not one to the developers or a criticism thereof.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Although I have no sympathy for those playing the quasi-bridge game of best-hand total points, I echo JDonn's request for a concede button as it would be helpful when defending against an obviously-making grand in a duplicate game...
