7. Who knows how many tricks either side is making?

I suspect that it is likely that 7 is down 1 , and so is 6 , but in case either of them makes , the odds favour bidding.

7, is this really a problem?

yeah the problem is when aprtner makes a forcing pass over 7

I think this problem is closer than the others think, partner rates to have A A, but might as well have A and we are off a red one.

pass is appealing, if it was understood as forcing, but IMO it should not be. So 7.

Since RHO is a passed hand I think it is obvious that they are sacrificing so pass is forcing. Anyway, I would bid 7.

wow, an unaminous poll, rare breed. Anyway, you were never going to get a great board here, but you could have recovered something by doubling. This was a hand an opp had which seemed interesting. He also bid 7 which went 1 off doubled. His partner commented that he should really double 6 on the basis there are 2 "likely" tricks which seemed like resulting a little. Anyway, the hands were something along the lines of:

It was only a 4 table field, 2 were in 6 making, 1 EW pair went down 2 in 6, while our table was 7x-1 for a top for us.

The "part 2" was going to be what to lead with the south hand if you do decide to defend 6, though since no-one is defending it....
