sorry to interrupt but it's funny that you open 1 of a suit and rebid 2NT with a lot of hands but apparently not 18-19 balanced :)
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

lol I had opened 1♦ with 17 5332 the same match, to play an awful 3NT wich needed ♥3-3 and ♥J onside, +11 :).

There is nothing wrong with downgrading intermediateless 4333, it wouldn't have changed a thing actually if I opened 1♣ and partner transfered with 1♥.
