This is from a free robot IMPs tournament. Listed in ascending order of HCP shown by South, various auctions were:
(1) 2NT-3-3-3NT-4
(2) 2NT-3-4-4NT-5-5-6-6
(3) 2-2-2NT-3-3-3NT-4
(4) 2-2-2NT-3-4-4NT-5-5-6-6
(5) 3NT-6NT
(6) 2-2-3NT-6NT

(A) If GIB had bid 4 instead of 3NT in auctions (1) and (3), would that have been natural or Gerber? If natural, why didn't he do that?
(B) In auction (2), South shows 21HCP and 4. In auction (3), South shows 22-24HCP and 3-4, but not both 24HCP and 4. (Auction (4) shows 24HCP+4.) Why does GIB go to slam on (2) but not (3)?
(C.) GIB says that South shows 25-27 on both (5) and (6). Why would two sequences show the same thing? Shouldn't (6) show more than (5)?
