i have seen this sequence before and it was NATURAL 6 carder hearts... i dont remember the bidder's hand, i was in shock, but maybe too good to preempt? or maybe drunk

Some people pass hugely distributional hands like AQJxxxxxxx, -, -, xxx (one I actually held) to try to get more info about partner's hand than they can get on their own if they open high. I suspect something like this is going on.
