it's spelled "slam".

And this is a pass, wtp. Well ok ok partner bid on his own to the 6 level on a QT suit. but is that an indication he has absolutely everything under control? I suppose that could be argued but anyway. I guess I'm retracting the wtp but still pass.

anyway this reminds me a little bit of this hand

At the table, I'd probably pass.

The danger hand is something like Kx, Q10xxxxxx, A, AK.

If partner had a hand with a first round spade control, and enough to bid 6H here, I'd have expected him to bid 4S then 6H over a minimum bid from me.

:) Pass.

Might or might not have seven. I stay fixed unless the state of the match means I need to swing. 7 is not terrible imo., but I hate looking at the Q.

Those hands don't seem similar to me at all. After 1N we are very tightly defined in HCP and shape, and partner had many ways to invite us to 7, as well as ways to infer that we were not off aces/keycards.

This hand is a pass to me, we could be cold for 7 but partner is under pressure and might have just guessed something.

Suspect Partner has
-
Qxxxxx
Jxxx
AKx

so pass- he should have put it to seven with one more control.

and if partner also knows the state of the match and made a good gamble, 7H could put the match out of reach.

I think the trump honors make 7 worthwide.
I am certain that he has full control of the side suit, but his trumps.

Well all in all it depends on the scoresheet and your partner. (Does he drink?)
