1 = 4-card majors (major rather than minor with 4-4)
2NT = 18-19
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Club 4 - dummy's got the points and declarer may duck in dummy. Tough hand, anything could be right really. If one gets it wrong, lets get it wrong in style ;)

I think we get so conditioned into thinking Kx or Qx or (worse) two honours doubleton is a horrible lead, that we forget to make it on the rare occasion when it looks right. (Obviously gnasher is not going to count my vote as I was present when we lost 13 imps on the board.)

A low club would be more tempting if we didn't hold the jack.

On the evidence so far, it seems to be mainly me that suffers from this problem.
