Hi all,
I am new at polish club, play about 6 months only. Do any experience player in polish club can tell me how is the seq after
1 - 1/
2NT

since 2NT denies Hxx in the major, i think have special seqs here, but i didnt found over the net a very good seq. I have made my own but want know how do you play this position.

Thx in advance,

I have no good bidding for this and would be happy to see yours, actually this sturday, l held a 18 hcp 1453 and opened 1c , partnr bid 1sp, and i followed with 2nt, he then bid 3sp with his 6 card suit and my 3nt just set the contract without me showing my diamonds which at the other table after 1d opening and 2nt rebid took them to an easy 6D.

Good question. There is little information for this sequence. Here is what we play. Hope this helps.

1C-1H;
2N - 19+ HCP notrump hand not suitable for 2D, GF
3C - checkback. Now....
....3D - 22+ HCP, with 4 or 5 weak D
....3 other Major – 22+ HCP, with 4 or 5C
....3 opener’s Major – 22+ HCP, with dbn hon
....3NT – 19-21 HCP, balanced
3D - Natural,over opener’s 3NT now 4C and 4 other M = slammish for D
3H - Good 6 card suit, ongoing
3S - 7-10 4 H and 4S exactly
3N – 7-10 balanced, may be 5332
4minor - splinter, good Major
4H - 6 or 7 card suit, but minimum
4S - singleton S, good H, ongoing. Now 4NT by opener is a sign off

Continuations over 1C 1S 2NT are similar.

I just read some ideas from Matula, here you should bid 3 showing specifically 19-21H and 5+4+singleton . Your partner surely would have also been able to find the slam.
The other specific bid is 3NT showing 18-21H and 5+4+3+singleton .
