Scoring: IMP

Hello, this is the twenty-fourth thread in the big poll. Please provide the most probable result after East opens 1 and you either

a) pass
b) double
c) bid 2.

Please do a cross imp result like:

a-b:
a-c:
b-c:

(a-c means the imps a wins over c)

Thanks :) Please try to do all 30 hands also :)

All roads lead to 4 or 5. It's possible E/W try to sacrifice in 4 but N/S will probably just bid 5 over this. Slam is unlikely off two keycards regardless of the auction.

a-b = 0 IMPs
a-c = 0 IMPs
b-c = 0 IMPs

I though at first that pass was the most likelyl to miss slam, but then I read adam's post and hell, that's right. If anythign, since south passing and then cuebiding twice should show spade ace, north might blast 6 at some point.

The best way to bid slam is to set diamonds as fit :(. But I seems unlikelly.

ok, ok all in all I'll afree with adam, 0-0-0

pass could well lead to a horrbile result:
1 pass 2 ? If you pass here and south bids 3 , good luck in finding anything at all.

But maybe this is not a big possibility, so I give all three ways + 680, flat board.
Kind Regards

Roland

Always 4, though they could luck into slam after bidding but never after passing.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
