there were 4 passouts in 77 tables.
4 tables bid and made 4 spades, cause partner had about 10 an the defense must not have been kosher
bottom board was 4sapdes doubled down 3
i passed.

Partner will have on avg. 8HCP, this means you have 20HCP,
you have a opening bid, which ensures, that you will play your
best fit, and you will have a 8 card fit - most of the time,
your opening bid makes it also very hard for the opponents to
enter the auction.
=> You have a good chance to go plus, hence open.
If you would not play Flannery, than I guess there is a stronger
case for Passing this hand out, although I still would open.

You have Drury protection for Hts..... or partner may bid 1S.
For those who like a crutch, the hand follows the Rule-of-18 in 4th seat:
Open if ♥ + ♠ + hcp = 18 or more ( even if you don't count the stiff K ).
