Fact: Gib is SLOW again! All the time, over the course of weeks or perhaps longer.

next time it feels sluggish could you drop me or ari an email ( uday@ arigreen@ ) and let us know that it is slow ( ideally, i want to know the dates/times/timezone) when u think it is slow so i can compare it to whatever is going on in the system at that time

That might help us find out what the underlying cause might be.

Haha obviously I was in a bad mood at that moment, but I still think I was right. Just going off the hands played, I remember a few months ago at some point when Gib sped up I was getting over 30 and sometimes nearly 40 hands in (including passouts) in a robot race. I'm often not even hitting 25 now. I'm fairly sure it's early in the play of the hand that Gib is spending a lot more time thinking but I'll try to put my finger on it more specifically.

I wonder if it's just because the robot tourneys have gotten more popular. I haven't been paying careful attention, but it seems like the number of players in many of the tourneys I've played in lately has been higher than in the past.
