1| 2EOA|MARTIN ALVARO-GRACIA-DIAZ GRANDE, JAVIER | 65.11 | 191|
2| 11EOA|ARANAZ RODRIGUEZ, RO-GARCIA DE LAS HERAS | 57.37 | 128|
3| 6EOA|GRASSET, M. CARMEN .-GODED MERINO, GONZAL| 57.33 | 99|

I am sure people have lost a bigger price (20€) by a smaller margin, but it doesn't make me feel better :P

Most painful small margin loss I ever had was teams, from several years ago.

First national KO final I'd been in.

Scores level, passed out at our table.

Oppos play a partscore, this is no play on 2 suit leads, requires xx opp AQ10 for 3 tricks on the other two and it rolled.

This has really grated up to last weekend, when I got into my second one and we managed to win it.

I hate the itching, but I don't mind the swelling.

In 2003, my pard and I lost the Open pairs in Penticton on a late play when Leapin Leo and his pard had a bidding misunderstanding to 6nt on a 4-4 heart fit. Both slams making.

The next day, he knocked us out of a KO by 1 imp.

Between sessions, they drew for door prizes and the lovely Leo won a $100 basket of cosmetics followed immediately by Carole winning a very cheesy watercolour painting of a fish!

Feel better now?

The day before yesterday I played a 37,5 % in a club tourney.
I had prefered to be 3. with such a small margin to the second place.
Kind Regards

Roland
