Retrieving my hands "lin files"

Hi

Can anybody help me - since I have a new laptop when I retrieve "my hands" windows asks for a programm to open the lin files. What can I do?

Hi B

You're using http://www.bridgebase.com/ and clicking on HAND RECORDS, right?

Try clicking on the MOVIE link, not the LIN link.

if that didn't help you: are you trying to get to individual hand records or to tournament leaderboards?

Even if you normally use the web/flash client, it is still worthwhile downloading the old windows version as this contains files like bidedit.exe and NetBridgeVu.exe. It also stores all of the default convention cards etc
I prefer to use the older version because all my hands and chat are stored on the laptop for offline use
