Languages 3.8.1 with Dutch?

Just downloaded the new version, nice to have 10 languages, but where's the Dutch? I guess you haven't found anyone to translate some words, I'd like to give it a try...

I miss much more the button to tell the installer which language I want to use.
Bridge-language is for me English and English and English.
In the German version I saw words, which in Germany no player will understand.
It's like translating "Nase" in "Gesichtserker", because "Nase" is a word not of German origin.
It's like playing golf with an tennis-racket just because golf-court is hosted by an tennis club.
The different languages will cause problem over problems.
I often told newcomers how to navigate in BBO, which buttons to click and so on. If everbody has another screen you cannot help them navigating without speaking their language.
The language-project is very important for the content pages (not translated as it seems to me) but for the navigation there has to be a button in view where I could choose my preferred language.

Really, I do not see any necessity for a dutch version. 99,999% of the dutch BBO players speak and understand enough English to play.
Those who dont will not come to BBO, as they have a complete dutch site, and as they still will not be able to communicate with other members.
I came over from the dutch site, i fled away from the sprouts' odour and inhale some cosmopolitan athmosphere.
Please... no dutch... please

hi Al,
everybody can select the language desired in the dialog invoked by the gear button at the lower edge of the window. In my oppinion, for normal club players it is easier to navigate if everything is in German.

The big difference between the Dutch site and BBO is that BBO is FREE! Not everyone wants to pay for some stuff online... I don't need the Dutch language, but perhaps some other people might want to use it. I know lots of Belgians and Dutchmen who come online a lot.

yes I know them too, they are doing fine. Indeed the dutch site is not free. But if you play one tournament a day for one dollar, you pay a lot more by year....

Free: if you want to xlate into Dutch, drop me an email ... uday@ ... and i will set you up.
Guggie: no one will be forced to use one language or the other. The yellow gear on the lower toolbar will allow each user to choose, if he doesnt like the language we use (which is based on the language used by the PC).
We see this as increasing a players choices. Too many of us don't speak English, and it cannot be a bad thing to have the option of using another language.

Whether there is an option for dutch terms or not is not very important, as really virtually all dutch bridgeplayers know enough english to use BBO. In Holland, being a small country, simply everyone HAS to learn English. It is IMHO a waste of time.
