Yes. Spades, hand is worth more than 10 and righty passed in 3rd so we rate to have slightly more strength, I can pass any (natural) response, if they compete partner will make a good lead. I think everything is going for opening.

Yeah Drury makes this clear, wouldn't be so happy if p could respond a natural (4+ or even 3+) 2♣.
I think I would pass at r/w at IMPs if not playing Drury but open under all under circumstances.
