I have lost all too many boards by virtue of the system's unnecessary re-shuffling of my hand after the bidding has finished. I have already decided a lead and point the marker at the card and press, and the - suddendly - I'm leading quite another card, because my hand is beinmg re-shuffled!?!?
Can this be changed. There is no need whatsoever to re-shuffle the hand you have been looking at all the time!

If you use keyboard bidding and play, that will never be a problem. Just type, say, S2, and you'll lead the two of spades, wherever it happens to be in your hand.

The reshuffling is moving trumps to ..., I never have an idea if it is
right or left.
And since you are aware of the reshuffling, it is easy to handle, just
wait a second.

It still catches me out. And seems to fulfil no sensible purpose. And could be done after the opening lead.

Sorry, but I disagree Some (a lot of) people like to have the trumps always on their left.
Espacially when you are declarer it is nicer to see the cards from dummy and your own if they are sorted in the same way.
If you cannot arrange with the simple solution of waiting a second with your lead after you suffered some bad boards because of your quick lead, you should try to change your way of acting. It can be done.

it wouldn't be so hard to put an option to select it. Waiting for the mouse to leave the cards zone isnt' so hard either. Banning card clicks for half a second after the change is also fine. I made a host of horrible leads years ago untill I get used to it.

Switch to hand diagrams, it doesn't rearrange the hands.
BTW, why is this a "General Bridge Discussion"? Seems like it would be more appropriate in "Suggestions for BBO".
