Playing bridge tonight with my Ex-wife (8 years divorced) She has played only once in the last 16 years. SHE HAS FORGOT MORE ABOUT THIS GAME THAN MOST PLAYERS WILL EVER KNOW" Looking to have a great time.. Wish me well!!
Please do not complain about my opinion. I don't have the time to convince you I'm right.

Dear Lenze,

To be perfectly honest Lenze (i see your situation through a wider lenze than others....ok ok i try) i played with my ex-wife about 3 years after we got divorced

It took me 2 and a half boards to realise why we got divorced in the first place :D A 4-1 break and a K offside had an uncanny habit of reheating the acid B)

My advice. Dont shave!!!, dont iron your shirt, don't change your underwear!!!Because if you win, AND you nonchalantly suggest to take her home for a coffee (yeah yeah) .....you might find that you fall in love all over again. OK, there as is much chance of that as the finesse of the 4 winning....It will then just take you another game to realise why you been separated for 8 years ;)

PPS Lenze. Please show some compassion. There are men here who have been playing with wives they've been married to for 30 years , not their Exs.

Words of Wisdom. Refuse to play in hearts: A bad heart break will ruin your bridge relationship.

Hum... I never call back my ex-girlfriends. Nor do I pick up the phone if they call me back B)

Been very sucesseful with this strategy.. you might want to try this too :D

Bridge players have a lot of exes? Anyways, not sure if this string belongs :D But good luck.

Thanks for all your comments. I had a great time with my EX. She did not touch a wrong card all night. (Not really true, She made the mistake of leading my suit once) We had a 65% game!!

Hi ..
I havent met my ex-wife yet .. should I deliberately avoid bridge-playing females?
Please advise ...we're not clever about this stuff in the province. :P

Yes. Don't go out with female players. It's bound to be unsettling

excellent advice... but then, i'm one who believes it's a good idea, in general, to stay away from *present* wives (as much as possible), much moreso ex's

<psst> That's horrible advice - I married my regular bridge partner, and boy did I get lucky. :)
