there is a particularly lengthy reply in a forum, which I want to save to a file on my computer.
Without doing 2 separate snapshots, is there an easy way to copy and paste just one reply?

Mark it with the mouse, then copy, paste it into some text editing program, then save it.
It might be easier instead of marking it as it is, to click "quote", then click on the text field where the quoted text (which is what you want to save) is, click ctrl-a ctrl-c, and then paste it to your text editing program. Then click "cancel" (or close the BBF browser window) to avoid actually quoting it.
