Scoring: IMP

You're in either 1st or 2nd seat, NV or V.

What's your style with 6-5 or 6-6's? Does it change if the 2 suits were M/m?
(I'm assuming having both majors is a bit more lenient)

I wait for a chance to show 2 suits if I can. Partner usually holds

If I'm playing some opening to show a two suited minor hand, I'll use it.

:)

As my Dad still says, "you have an immediate grasp of the obvious" :)

Not having that I'll pass.

If I have both majors with this strength, I'll pass.

Even a 4NT opening?

That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Pass , and bid a lot later.

This way your hand is limited by the original pass , and pd will not get excited with points, but no good fit.

Pass.

If you have a opening bid to show at least 6-5, I would
use it, I dont have it.

I pass. I hate 4NT even if playing it as minors (which I don't anyway) since this hand is not nearly preemptive enough, even with 6-6. One of the suits is Axxxxx, that's terrible for opening a high level preempt.

i have had soime bad expereinces passing these hands. If partner opens or overcalls in spades it can be come extremely difficult to bring your second suit into the auction.

1s-2d
2h-?

You are basically prevented from bidding your second suit. Then again, passing is excellent when the opps have a large fit, p 1s p 4s and you ahve an easy 4N bid.

I have no real feeling on what will be best in the longer term, but at the moment im a bidder wit these hands. Ill get back to you in about 5 years when i have picked up enough for a statistically significant sample :)

Easy pass with my methods.
Playing 2NT as both minors, I'd open 2NT.
4NT is far out IMO.
Kind regards,
Harald

1 but only because I have an ace and a king so my hand is not hopeless on defence. Otherwise pass then bid NT at whatever level.

2 or 4NT if available. 2 followed with 4 or 5 if not.

2 NT if avaiable, pass else. Never 4 NT, even if avaiable.
Kind Regards
