Scoring: IMP

P-1♣-1♥-2♦
P-2♠-3♥-P
P-3NT-P-P
X*-AP

* = ♦ lead please

Don't worry about the bidding :) N/S are relatively newish players and all 4 are friends so it was a very relaxed game. I was East.

Trick 1: ♦2, 3, 4, ♥2 (best, I think)

Diamond A and then a club through beats it, but partner returned the club 10 at trick 2. Double dummy, am I screwed?
I once yelled at my partner for discarding the 'wrong' card when he was subjected to a squeeze that I allowed by giving the wrong count with too high a card. Now he's allowed to pitch aces when the opponents have the king in the dummy. At trick 2. When he could have followed suit. And blame me.

I don't think so. Just avoid ever leading a heart. If declarer covers, you win and exit a spade. If he wins and strips you of spades, you will later take your club tricks and exit with your small club when declarer tries to endplay you there.
"Are you saying that LTC merits a more respectful dismissal?"

Ya, thanks. Missed that. Guess not enough coffee yet this morning.
