Hi,

i subbed in a ACBL tourney, came in when 4 minutes on the clock, no thank you from td, just a "pls Hurry so both baords will count", we moved to next round, i said hi opps when i was subbed out without a prior notice of what was going to happen. I asked ACBL_11: " coud u please say to me when you are subbing me out?" NO ANSWER WHATSOEVER.

When i wanted to let management of acbl know that i feel this is not nice manours, cause ppl subbing are helping out and i NEVER seen any director, organisation not be very appreciative towards subs , i took this thing up to the log ACBL on bbo AND i reveived again NO ANSWER WHATSOEVER .

Personally i think replacing a sub when u let it know isnt bad thing, given the fact ppl paid for it and a sub didnt , but does that mean that directors and the yellow ACBL can treat ppl like that, so be nice only to the ones paying and be rude to those helping you out?

When i see the questions come to me from ppl i even dodnt know asking me stuff because they heard somewhere that i woud probaly have the answer i never felt myself too good to not respond, keeping silent when someone ask u things in real life is considerd very rude i think, so same policy online for me.

Is this allowed or did it become normal on BBO?

Regards

Marc

I understand players have some time to return and get their seat back, like 15 mins, or next round, or something like that.

It is allowed, as any policy on subs is, at director's will, you are subject to this policy when you become sub. Would be best if it is written somewhere, but in any case, a clarification, either after being subbed out or when the tourney was over if director too busy would have been welcome, I guess.

Hi,

As director myself, i dont log off (ACBL_11) when im spoken too, nor will i go on brb ( ACBL) , acbl was after tourney , Td in the beginning of the next round, either way, i think both is a no do , well at least to me, maybe im out of this world with trying to be kind and explain myself when someone questions me or has a in his eyes legit claim.

I m fully aware and understand the subpolicy, played an event after the one i mentioned and i think i saw something said about possibil subs beeing subbed out.

Im sure bbo has changed its policy also about black marks for subs considering the large amount of events held by ACBl and others aournd BBO,
