Yep, TOx + easy 3 call.

By the way, a DSIP double has some superficial appeal, but where are the damn spades? I like 3 even more since it shuts out the pending 2 call by LHO on the 5 count.

Penalty. Opener has bid a suit that partner has offered to play. If the double isn't preserved for penalty, the opponents are free to steal the suit.

you are talking about a double of the 2H call. The OP was a bit unclear, but I think he was asking about the double after (1S) p (1NT), since that is the only double shown in the post.

This double would normally be a TOX of 1 but it looks like the opps have to be using F1NT and East was going to make a bailout bid I would X to let partner know I have some cards as I think he has a very strong hand and will raise a NT call to game if we don't end up playing 2X

double is not so bad, but I don't like thataprtner is so likelly to bid 3 over 2 if we double.
