Pass?
If there was something partner wanted to do, partner would have done it.

3.

Partner would have probably have doubled if they are not making and I'm reasonably confident of avoiding -300 and +140 is very possible. Even if we beat 3 for +100, they have balanced vul vs not which other tables may not do so there could be a number of 110s or 140s our way.

Totally agree with this. We are w/r at mps, and pard knows we are in 3rd. We have a 5th trump and a stiff diamond.

Pass will usually garner a 30% board.

Yesterday I was going to make the usual crack about a unanimous poll, saying just wait someone will come and ruin it. But I never thought there would be two people who are apparently not from the same planet that I am.

It is nice for Phil to be so delighted he has a fifth trump in a major suit he opened and that partner expects to have 5. That combined with a nice ten count opposite a passed hand should probably be close to a slam invite

Don't mock him, he has a good suit to compensate.

Agreed...and while it is nice to bid more at MP's with this rubbish it doesn't seem right.

Pass. Opps have majority of points, you have a crap suit - the fact that he didn't bid 2 over 1 but balances with 3 over 2 may suggest he has heart length too. Your trump quality is a big worry for 3X, and lastly the opps may be cold for 3NT anyway.

Are we playing Drury or Bergen raises? What is my style of play in 3rd seat and what is pard's style of raising a 3rd seat opening?

If memory serves, this went pass, pass, 1H, pass - not exactly an overwhelming threat of 3N from opponents or even of vastly superior high card strength. Why can't the division of HCPs be close to 10, 10, 10, 10?

Would partner get excited with xx, Axxx, xxxx, KQx?

I don't see this as an auto-pass. I think we have need to have more information about system and style of play.

I support 3H. This is MP. If you pass,-110 would be horrible and +100 would most likely be an average minus.

If I can make 140, that's for sure a top and -50 would be an average plus most of the time against their 110.

To offset your trump quality, any quality you do hold in trumps will be positioned correctly? And it's difficult to see much wasted in diamonds. I think this one is close and the bid would be down to the scoring system
bridge is never always a game of exact, for those times it's all about percentages, partner and the opponents.
