I second the Hide recommendation (no big surprise, huh?  I should state that _I_ was there first)

They have the best Inari I've ever had (sweet rice wrapped in tofu).

I had no idea anything could be wrapped in tofu. Wiki makes it sound pretty darn good.

It really is! Especially at Hide.

I've had it at other places, and it wasn't as good, but I think it was because they used the usual sushi rice instead of special rice.

Can you tell this is one of my favorite dishes ever? ;)

I had fried tofu once at a sushi place, it was surprisingly good.

Sushi is easy to make and fun too. Good idea for a party if you are afraid the guest have nothing to talk about. Make them make their own Sushi.

I wouldnt order it at a restaurant.

Nothing against Sushi parties, but well-prepared sushi of good fresh fish is something worth paying for (if you go out to eat in restaurants at all).

I would be pretty nervous about party members making sushi....

You must have some pretty wild parties.

Everytime I order sushi, the waitress looks at me funny and tells me i've ordered a lot of food. So even if I do order too much food, I have to eat it all just to spite her for thinking I don't know how much food I've ordered.

Luckily that's never been a problem.

I had a similar experience once when I ordered burek, one of my favorite dishes, at my first visit to a Serbian restaurant recommended by friends. The waitress asked wide-eyed, "Just for you?"

And the burek did turned out to be bigger than usual, but there was no way I wasn't going to finish it all.

I had to google Börek since I hadn't heard of it.

After reading more on the wiki page, I realize now that I actually had Börek when I went to Turkey without even realizing what it was. I'm sad to say the cafeteria that cooked for us was less than stellar, so that explains why it wasn't a memorable experience. Now I know.

Ignorance may be bliss, but knowledge makes life way more interesting imo.

I also order way too much food at Indian restaurants, but generally the waiter doesn't say anything haha

A meal for two for me easily can consist of 2 appetizers, 3 entrees to share, and several breads.

Leftovers are the nuts.
