I have an absolutely normal 3H bid. Not sure what I'm supposed to hate. I see that partner opened out of turn but RHO has already accepted it.

Yeah 3♥ is pretty clear and is not really the problem. The problem is what are you going to call over 3NT. Any of 4♥, 4♠, or Pass could be right and are probably essentially equal altho at MP I would probably try Pass

Gotta hate when they make you show a GF hand with 5+ hearts at the 3 level when you have 6 good hearts and a very solid opening bid.

I would rather have this problem than have 3♥ be an NFB :)

Whether partner opened 1♠ or not, this is an auto 3♥ in both cases.

Can you not bid 4♣ over 3N to put 4♥, 4♠, 4N and 5♦ in the frame ?

Can you not bid 4♣ over 3N to put 4♥, 4♠, 4N and 5♦ in the frame ?

you could but it doesn't look right as partner will have skipped 3♠ probably showing only 5 and by not bidding 4♥ showing a maximum of 2 ♥. A double ♣ stopper is about 50% just on gut feeling. Consequently do I really want to show slam interest?
