Scoring: IMP

(2)-??

1) Rho opens weak 2, what do you bid?
2) If you double, lho will riase to 3, and partner jump to 4, do you bid more?

I would definitely double - many many good things can happen. And at the very least, I can always rebid 2NT which shows exactly my hand. A direct 2NT doesn't do justice with 4 bullets and a king, even though we are 4333. A 15-19.5 2NT is just too wide ranging.

1) X planning on a NT rebid
2) yes I am inclined to bid more. Partner had a chance for a constructive 3 bid but chose instead to go to game with no aces.

1) Dbl
2) Not sure... With apparent singleton in diamonds, partner might have as little as KQJxx-Qxx-x-xxxx and we don't have any chance for 12 tricks.

Nobody said you should drive slam. With that hand partner will sign off over whatever slam try you choose.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn
