♦J.
This will require the least from partner to beat the slam.
Also , most LHOs would be much more likely to bid like that missing a ♦ control than missing a ♣ control.

agreed! either the ♦A or a trump entry will serve as long as dummy has at least 2♦

Jd seems very obvious.
If you think about it the 6s bidder almost certainly has a club void for is bidding. it would be bizarre for him to have a diamond void, and with no void he is near certain to have bid BW whatever his level.
My second choice would be a trump. I am trying to work out what hand he has to bid like this, and im going to guess its about
AKxx

and that he thinks one of the red suits will come in. Given how good his hand must be, a void and lack of sufficient tools must be the only reason he has not had a sniff at grand, as 1s rebid is very wide ranging normally.

It's not obvious to me. IMO
- ♦ = 10, Playing partner for ♦A or a quick trump entry.
- ♠ = 9, Cards seem to lie badly for declarer. Perhaps he needs some ruffs.
- ♦ = 6, Gives little away if opponents are stretching,
- ♥ = 3, But partner might have made a Lightner X.
