2♠, NF, 5+ ♠s... Only strong bid is Dbl, and I don't feel strong with this.

Pass. 6HCP should be enough to let pd play 1NT in confort. Pd can have a doubleton in spades and 5 clubs or diamonds and I can put him in a very bad contract if I transfer to spades.
And It's more difficult to compete for the opponents if I pass 1NT they don't know what's going on.

i'd xfer to spades then pass... i imagine partner has something in hearts, but i wouldn't be very comfortable with rho's pass, given my weakness... it appears that the hands might play better at 2S, even if pard has a doubleton

pass seems right, if I have t9 in spade, i will xfer to 2s. pd rates to have doubleton spade

i would pass, pard is sat above opening hand and 1NT may be the better contract with at least 21 points your way, if opener then bids 2H i would then show spades.
of coarse this is probably completely and utterly the wrong thing to do

I have a 5 card suit, these means, either my partner has 3 card support so we have a good fit to play in, or he has only 2, in that case he will lack of entries in my hand to stablish it, therefore I Wanna play in ♠ so I can make some tricks.
When holding a 5 card suit with a weak hand that is able to play at level 2 opposite a balanced hand don´t doubt it much, just play there you will be right most time.
When it is matchpoints you 'could' not wanna play on 5 card minors, but always play on 5 card majors.
So use your own method: bid 2♠ (best imo, to make the strong hand lead) or transfer, just as you agreed.

My hand is balanced and probably plays better in NT and it is 1 level lower.
