I have now received the detailed information regarding the 39th World Team Championships in São Paulo, Brazil. As expected, our coverage of the event will be comprehensive. Have a look at ...

http://online.bridgebase.com/vugraph/sched...?order_by=event

Not only will we get three sessions a day for 12 days and a further two (Bermuda Bowl only) on the final day of the competition (September 12), we will also be broadcasting from a record number of tables in every session. 12 is once again the magic number. 12 tables three times a day!

The emphasis will be on the Bermuda Bowl, but on a regular basis we will also show matches from the Venice Cup, the d'Orsi Senior Bowl and the Transnational Teams.

At this point in time I can't be specific as far as fixtures are concerned, simply because I don't know them. The decisions will be made pretty late, often not until the day before.

Useful links (bookmark them!) are ...

http://www.worldbrid...09/SaoPaulo.htm

http://www.ecatsbrid...razil/draws.asp

Enjoy the show!

Roland

Stange idea to broadcast the SB and ignore one or two BB QF.

We're not going to hijack Roland's thread, right? So I split off the debate on free speech, site rules, etc to its own thread,

http://forums.bridge...topic=34129&hl=

Sorry, R. This thread is all yours again.
