I would rather have raised (transferred to?) spades the first time.

I've got no strong preference now. Maybe 6S? :/

I like my partner now. 6.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

6, like the auction.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

What suit are you expecting to play in if not ? Since you have LR strength why not follow the "support with support" principle and get the hand off your chest.

Auto 6. I would feel unlucky if we cashed two black winner vs 6, but its quite possible that 6 is a good sac against a game.

It's hard to criticise the transfer to clubs, which has worked out very well. I'd bid 6.

That might make your scorecard look better, but it would still be a large swing. If you go for 500 in 6 instead of taking 100 from 6, you've gone from +7 against par to -5 against par, so your save has cost 12 IMPs.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Seems like consensus. I also bid 6 but one good player I asked afterwards said he'd pass.

6 was an easy make and 6 will go for 1100 (partner has something like QJTxx xx x Kxxxx)

I think 5 was too much with your partner's hand. 4 seems reasonable. Not that it will necessarily change your decision to sac, but it might.

Yes 6, but I would have slightly prefered to raise spades immediately, since I don't mind a spade lead. Showing clubs is more urgent with xxx or something.

6D on this auction is almost free. Opponents take the bounce sac way often so 6D only needs about 35% to make. Why would they 5D on 65% when 6D has 35% make + 70% sac?
