Actually I think best would be a 3♥ fit jump (I like the idea that splinters are only in their bid suit(s)). This will stop opener from bidding his 5-6 or 5-5 sometimes. If it's responder who has many spades, it will stop them entirely. I'll pass 4♦.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.
