Barry Rigal said the Danish guy was an 'idiot'. Or wtte.
1♥-1♠-x-3♣
4♣
3♣ was just weak and preemptive.
Whatever your interpretation, you likely have not discussed this specific sequence. If that is true, what rule did you apply?

The question is "What is 4C?"
I would suggest an autosplinter. Long strong H and a stiff C.

I have some questions first:
1) What does partner's first double mean. Presumably standard negative, so should have some support for the minors?
2) What would a double by me mean (instead of 4C)? Options I can think of are penalty (i.e. I have clubs), or strong balanced without a club stopper (something like 18-19).
If the answer to 2 is the strong balanced hand, I see no reason why 4C can't be natural and psyche-exposing.
So I'm going to go with natural here.

I have no clue and therefore it is forcing.
I would assume partner controls clubs either having ace or splinter.
The early Pink Floyd song See Emily Play is about Emily Young, "the psychedelic schoolgirl" so I guess we're gonna go high!
