Having bid 1S earlier, i think i will pass. Maybe, partner has some defense

Given our length, parter will have short hearts,
given our diamond void, partner will have some
diamonds, i.e. both features cancel each other
out.
I would have made a Michales Cue, but this is
a style thing / partnership agreement thing, the
spade suit is pretty good, so just overcalling is fine.
Assuming I made the Michaels Cue, and the bidding
would come back without any sign of life from p, I
would pass it as well.
With kind regards

Not having done so, I abide with my decision (to not involve partner), and pass now instead of guessing. Anyway, they might easily go down.

2♥ the first time would have been natural, for me. So, I have to pick between Sandwich, Takeout, and 2NT if I want to show both suits. White on red makes 2NT appealing, but I have boss trumps and values. Hate to bid 2NT when 2♠ could be the last making contract for anyone.
I think I'd probably just bid 1♠ myself.

Having overcalled 1♠ originally, I have no rational choice but to pass now.

I think I'd start with 2N. My heart void tells be there will be a lot of bidding.

There is nothing wrong with Sandwich 1NT. It merely prevents you from using a natural 1NT when both opponents are in the auction. That strikes me as being a good thing.
Sorry if this is a hijack. I won't say another word (for at least 15 minutes).

Your competitive bidding philosophy made a lot more sense 30 years ago, when opening bids were sound, and responses promised 6 + hcp. Nowadays, with 10 point openers and 4 point responders, not only can you make game surprisingly (to old-school bidders) often but the opps are terrified that their partner has a weak hand, and so don't double the way they used to. Add to this that you often have relative 2-level safety somewhere, andyou will begin to understand why the majority of experts today play 1N as strong and natural.
The only 2 suited takeouts I have are 2N and double.. altho I play the cue of opener's suit as takeout in some partnerships, I increasingly prefer it as natural.
I would not have bid 2N here.... I would have bid 1♠ and, having done so, I pass, regretting not having bid 2N.
